Wag & Brush

Wag & Brush chew bar + 3 finger toothbrushes

Brushing a dog's teeth is a two-person job most of the time. One to hold the mouth open, one to brush, and the dog voting against both of you.

Wag & Brush gives them something to chew on that holds their mouth open for you. They bite down on the textured bar, and while they're busy with that, you've got a clear run at their teeth with the finger brush. Two hands free, one dog distracted, job done in a couple of minutes.

What you get

• The chew bar. Firm, textured and dishwasher-safe, with grooves that give their teeth something to work against. Sized for small to medium dogs, about 4 inches (10cm) across.
• Three finger toothbrushes. Soft bristles on a sleeve that slips over your fingertip, so you can feel what you're doing instead of poking around with a handle. Three means you've got spares.

Good to know

Works best when you start slow. Let them chew on it for a few days before you bring in the finger brush, so it's a toy first and a toothbrush second. Use a dog toothpaste, never a human one. Supervise chewing, and take it away if any piece comes loose.
